Virgin Atlantic to the Rescue

So as not to leave anyone in undue suspense, I will report that we did indeed make it to England, though 24 hours later than originally planned. I am currently in London, at a small Internet store, immediately next to the launderette where my clothes are blissfully sloshing away. Much more when I return, naturally.

Ms. redfox and company were here for the weekend, so I heard you managed to get a flight. Hope everything went well. Did you fly into Gatwick?

I don't know where Virgin Atlantic generally flies into, but our flight landed at Heathrow, where we picked up the rental car and proceeded immediately to St. Ives, with stops along the way at Stonehenge and Salisbury. It made for rather a rough day of travel since we landed just after 7 am London time on just a couple of hours of sleep. I had a marvelous time, though I did get more than my fair share of strange looks whenever I photographed the condiments.
